OUR HISTORY----------

In 1988 I was given an opportunity to purchase a Bloodstock/Livestock Insurance Agency after experiencing a life changing accident that ended my career in the retail fashion industry. After 22 years I continue to enjoy the challenges and opportunities presented in the animal insurance business. As I read recently the one thing constant is change and this certainly holds true in the Bloodstock/Livestock Industry.
I’m fortunate to have the assistance of Emily Harp, Patty Jackson and Angel Ragsdale; Emily was the office manager when I purchased the agency and continues to work on a part time basis; Patty has been with the agency for over 17 years and Angel more than 5 years. I can attribute Prairie States’ success to the teamwork of the staff and the assistance of a dedicated bloodstock agent helping us to secure strong markets with A+ rated American based Companies.
